Miami Beach Yacht Rentals from Miami Beach Marina

Most of our fleet is based at Miami Beach Marina, at the southern tip of South Beach right on Government Cut. That makes it the home port for yacht rentals anywhere in Miami Beach – South Beach, Mid-Beach, North Beach or the Bay Harbor side of the Intracoastal – and it is why guests staying on the island board minutes from their hotel instead of driving to the mainland.

Where a Miami Beach charter goes

The home-port route is the one on every postcard: out of Government Cut past Fisher Island, around Star Island and the Venetian Islands, then anchor at the Monument Island sandbar with the downtown skyline across the bay. From there you choose – the Atlantic side along the full run of Miami Beach sand, north up the Intracoastal past Mid-Beach and the Normandy Isles to North Beach and the 79th Street Causeway, or south to Key Biscayne and Stiltsville on a full-day charter.

Boat rental in Miami Beach, captain included

Every boat and yacht we book in Miami Beach comes with a professional captain and crew, so no boating license is needed. Published rates run from $1,700 for a half-day sport yacht to superyachts with a jacuzzi and water toys for up to 13 guests, and they include the captain, crew, fuel, and dockage. You reserve directly with Miami Yacht Connect rather than through a marketplace, so the price you see is the price you pay plus tax and gratuity.

Where to stay on the beach

We rent villas as well as yachts. Villa Savant looks out over Biscayne Bay and has one of Miami Beach’s few infinity rooftop pools, with 8 bedrooms for 14, from $7,500 a night on a three-night minimum. How much does it cost to rent a yacht in Miami Beach?
Half-day charters on sport yachts start at $1,700-$2,800. Mid-size motor yachts run $3,000-$5,500 for four hours, and full-day superyacht charters range from $9,500 to $15,000+. Every published rate includes the captain, crew, fuel, and dockage.
Can I rent a boat in Miami Beach without a boating license?
Yes. All Miami Beach boat rentals through Miami Yacht Connect come with a professional captain and crew, so you do not need a boating license or any experience. You pick the yacht and the route, the captain handles the rest.
Where do Miami Beach yacht rentals depart from?
Most yachts board at or near Miami Beach Marina at the southern tip of South Beach (300 Alton Road area), steps from the South of Fifth neighborhood. For guests in Mid-Beach, North Beach or Bal Harbour a pickup at a marina closer to you is sometimes possible depending on the yacht – you receive the exact slip with your confirmation.
Can I rent a yacht in South Beach specifically?
Yes – South Beach is where the fleet lives. Miami Beach Marina sits at the South of Fifth end of South Beach, so a South Beach yacht rental is the shortest walk to the dock of any charter in Miami. Government Cut, Star Island and the Monument Island sandbar are all within the first half hour.
How many guests can we bring?
US Coast Guard regulations limit private charters to 13 passengers including the charterer, regardless of yacht size. For bigger groups, we arrange two or more yachts cruising together.
Are taxes and gratuities included in the price?
Florida sales tax (7%) and a crew gratuity (18%) are added to the published rate at booking. There are no other fees – fuel, captain, crew, and dockage are already included.
