How much does it cost to rent a yacht in Coconut Grove?

Half-day charters on sport yachts start at $1,700-$2,800. Mid-size motor yachts run $3,000-$5,500 for four hours, and full-day superyacht charters range from $9,500 to $15,000+. Every published rate includes the captain, crew, fuel, and dockage.

Where do Coconut Grove charters depart from?

Depending on the yacht, boarding is at docks in the Dinner Key Marina area or nearby Miami marinas – you will receive the exact dock address with your booking confirmation.

What is the best route from Coconut Grove?

South Biscayne Bay is the classic run: Vizcaya views, the Key Biscayne shoreline, Nixon Sandbar, and the Cape Florida Lighthouse – calm, protected water the whole way.

How many guests can we bring?

US Coast Guard regulations limit private charters to 13 passengers including the charterer, regardless of yacht size. For bigger groups, we arrange two or more yachts cruising together.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Yes, BYOB is welcome on all charters. Ice, a cooler, and bottled water are already on board, or we can arrange full catering as an add-on.

Are taxes and gratuities included in the price?

Florida sales tax (7%) and a crew gratuity (18%) are added to the published rate at booking. There are no other fees – fuel, captain, crew, and dockage are already included.

Calm-Water Charters From the Grove

The Grove’s water still feels the way Miami boating began – calm, green, and protected from the first minute out of Dinner Key. Run the Key Biscayne shoreline past Vizcaya, or drift toward Stiltsville. Next door, Coral Gables opens the same quiet bay from Matheson Hammock.
